here we go.. the last update for on this..

my laptop is back.. it got a head shot though - no win7 but a "better" xp - but at least no virus on it..

yeah I need to get used to the thought of buying a new one.. poor laptop.. it's "only" 5 years old..

I'll go back to my place tomorrow.. finally.. no virus will hold me back doing so! (and yeah my cold is better, thanks..)

Update 2:

so.. wanted to say thanks to all for the comments and pieces of advice...

I found a freaking rootkit.. and things got really messy... I can tell..
so decided to let my laptop get wiped out.. to get rid of whatever is left of the mess and also to get rid of xp...

let's hope everything will be all right.


oh yeah.. I don't know when I will be able to scan the chibis so please be aware of my laptop misery!

Update 1:

yeah.. well.. found out that I cannot open exe files anymore.. great huh? it is telling me then that it was no valid win32 whatsoever file..

is a beagle, isn't it?...
changing the file name .exe to .com won't work either..

so.. I already did my research.. but nobody can tell me what to do in the case when changing the name won't work either!

well.. yeah.. to sum it up..

a fucking virus attacked my laptop. it was one of these popups that act like an virus protection programm commercial.. and it pretty much installs intself when you shut the window.

it deleted or at least enabled my norton. I can't even put my windows back to a earlier state. I cannot even uninstall norton to reinstall it.. so.. yeah great..

I should actually be happy that I haven't had virus problems for 5 years...

but it's freaking stupid!!!!!!! gah! I need this shit.. I need my freaking laptop to work and finish my studies! fuck you whoever wrote this bullshit of a virus.. you have no fucking life and nobody wants you!


ergh.. sorry for that.

does anyone know what to do? I could at least figure out the name of the program that tried to process all the time and to open up the fake anti virus programm "wscsvc32.exe".

christmas gets me into the usual bit melacholic mood.. probably because everything is white and dark outside.. too silent and too cold for people to go outside.. and thus it gives you too much space to look inside yourself and think.

well well I know I haven't been wirting much lately but there is something I need to state before I might get weird comments about some of my drawings someday:

since a while you read it everywhere, like it was about a new pandemia: "twilight". yeah right.. "just some crazy new series with a huge hype, so I thought. fine with me." untill I read a short parody of twilight (as I found out later) that made me feel a bit awkward and curious about it. so..yeah.. happens: today I had to watch it.

GOSH! I feel like everytime someone has an idea for a story or character, a bit later (or years later) someone else is just presenting something very similar???

I know this thought-switch-thingy might be confusing now... but it has a reason that I will try to explain now...

some years ago some friends and me had a new RPG session mostly based on WoD (also known as World of Darkness) that includes everything from vampires to werewolves.
yeah! and it was an amaaazing story that came up! I always thought it was really worthy to actually develope it even more in another media (comic or something).

the story of this RPG session was pretty much about a gothic/mexican girl in a really dark and run down city in the states who finds out that vampires and werewolves really exist. she gets involved into their dark world ..and stands pretty much inbetween the lines of representatives of vampires and werewolves from different clans. the story includes her own mortal problems and life of course and some mexican folklore about nahuales.. (mostly things I picked up from the time I lived and traveled in mexico).
freak! this had it.. action, horror, romance, humor and tragedy..


this is just disillusioning...


I don't want people to think the rpg-based story OTE (Over the Edge..hehe) was just some kind of twilight-inspirated bullshit. it isn't.



I feel like men should not try to reinvent the wheel.. there is not such a thing as a "new story", only the good old archetype-stories that are fitted into new settings.

here I go stating what I need to speak off my mind: OTE is no twilight-copy, has never been inspirated by it and deserves independent, neutral commenting, although there seem to be a couple of similarities that I cannot explain myself... TT_TT *goes and sticks her head under pillows and blankets*


it's a nice movie though..........

Recently, motivating people seems to be really hard. Geez.. I don't like when people aren't very independent and creative on their own and especially when they ask you to tell them in detail what they have to do instead of just using their own brains. For real, this isn't funny at all and destroys every project. If you want to be good and nice to RPG leader or whatever project you are in (drawing or whatever), make sure you just be brave and give it a shot trying to bring in your own ideas instead of asking for dictation every little second. That's just frustrating for everyone.

Anyways..
I just got back from the GamesCom in Cologne which kicked ass! (For people who don't know it.. it's the largest games expo in Europe that is also open to public and as big as the E3 in L.A.) The new Zelda was fun, also Singularity and Avatar even if those 3D effects still need lots of development.. oh and geesh.. now I want to play Assasin's Creed 2 like reeeaally bad. this games is so wicked.
